Poinsettias are a tropical plant frequently associated with the holiday season, and over 2 million are sold each year.  They are sensitive to the cold - so keep out of drafty areas! The gorgeous red, white, or multicolored blooms are actually the plant’s leaves called bracts, and they surround the smaller flowers in the center.
